A dip in the INKWELL June 06, 2005 I'm listening to KEXP at work right now, and this week is their summer fundraising drive. It's been kind of hysterical, because I'm basically listening to what sounds like WFNX from about 15 years ago: Violent Femmes, Pixies, King Missile, Dead Milkmen. I ain't complaining, but I wonder what it says about their "target demographic." The station has probably figured out that the "older" listeners have a little more expendable income. Had a wonderful weekend - spent much of it outside, where people belong. Sunshine and smiles. I wish I didn't have to spend so much of Sunday doing laundry and food shopping, but c'est la vie. |
